My husband and i are wanting to have a real wedding ceremony (bridal shower,ect.) we had to get married due to circumstances and were wondering how we go about doing it.
Hi Tarah: I suggest going to a wedding etiquette site. Another one I post on is weddingpalace (and the dot com on the end). Lots has been asked and answered on that site as to what is etiquette and not. Unfortunately, you are already married. What you will be having is a vow renewal ceremony or a "blessing of your marrige" (if it's in a church). You can't have a bridal shower, bachelorette party, etc. All of those pre-marriage things because you are alredy married. You won't register for gifts or have bridesmaids. You can, however, have a reception with a cake, have photos, have a dance, etc. I suggest going to that site or another one called topweddingquestions.
