My daughter's Bat Mitzvah was last weekend and it was fantastic. We planned the event around a topic that interested her. Everyone who came, both adults and teens had a blast. Decide what you like and what your parents can afford. Remember it is your day. You have accomplished alot, so the party should be a celebration of your life, and the people (family, friends, teachers, mentors, etc.) who helped you became the women you are that day.
If you like to dance, dance! If art is your favorite activity, include that. Do not make an event to impress. Do make the event an expression of who you are!
