I'm planning my sweet sixteen but I have one dilemma: I need a theme. I'm looking for anything orignal or anything creative. If anyone can help me by suggesting a theme to me it would be really appreciated. Thank you. Please write back with any suggestions.
I know how you feel, my 16th is November 2004, and I am fresh out of crazy ideas, but maybe you could have like a kareoke party and have the best singer win a prize. Thats what I did for my 14th party.

You should have like a sourt of court. Or a wedding sort of. Your best friends be the brides maids or wateva you want to call. I sort of semi - formal kind of dance. Ya kno!!!

Why don't you try like a eygptian style party thats what I was going to do for mine. Or what about a mardi gras party you could have people wear masks and give out little gift bags with beads in them. For the eygptian thing you could do like a belly dancing show and have little paintings all around the place
What about like a disney princess theme like tinkerbell cinderella little mermaid alice in wonderland....or like a place like an island a beach or like a name brand theme
I just had my sweet sixteen nov. 5, 2005. My theme was cinderella. What i did was make my court act out the cinderella story starting from the part when the step mother got the invitition to the ball. Then at the end i had my court do the waltz while they waited for me to come in. When i came in i had to men open the door and i appeared. Then my prince charming came to me and we dance will my sister was singing a song by keyshia coles called love. It was beautiful. Everyone was talking about it when i got 2 school. You should do something like that.

I think you should have a type of elegant theme for your sweet sixteen . I to am planning mine and that;s basically my theme. Everyone has to dress up and the guys have to escort the girls in the hall. Some of the guys will be serving the girls. There will be people at the door taking peoples coats and making sure their names are on my guest list. Hopefully I helped you out some.

So you totally do not need a huge budget to have a great sixteen. If you have an iconic movie or tv show that you love make that your theme everyone at my school is upsessed with the show the office so for mine my friends threw me a surprise office party everyone dressed up as their fav character and we have a projecter which they played episodes from on a blank white wall the whole night. I mean and you can play trivia games from whatever you choose and stuff like that i guess. A good theme thats close to the cinderella might be gossip girl the clothes are amazing and the attire still applies for the guys given the fact that not one on that show doesnt own a pair of pants which havn't been specifically tailord. Incase you don't watch the show its all vintage cocktail attire. Hope i helped!
