I am assisting with an outdoor wedding. Our problem is how to have Unity Candles and keep the flames from going out during the ceremony. Any ideas? Also we are looking at having candlelite around the perimeter of the ceremony and are considering using vases with candles inside.
You can purchase hurricanes to go over the candles. As for the perimeter of the ceremony, what about using luminary bags with cut out designs. You fill them with sand (or inexpensive cat sand) and place a tea light on the sand. They don't blow over as the sand acts as an anchor and they look lovely.
