My fiance and I are 28/30 yrs of age. We live in St.Louis Missouri and plan to wed this year. After fully planning our wedding we discovered the cost was too expensive at around 7-10 thousand dollars. I am really struggling.. Help!!
We belong to the UCC church and do plan to wed in church. My dilema is the reception. I want to keep the reception cost down. My ideas have been to get married on Friday pm and have appetizers, some alcohol, and a dj. But, this is still very expensive.
Other ideas have been maybe a brunch on a Saturday. But, the only problem is no fun with music or drink. Another idea was in the basement of the church. But, again no music or dj.
