I want to do a Quinceanera or Sweet 16 for my daughter. She is 14, so I need to start planning. My problem? I read the quinceanera traditions which include Mass. We don not go to mass. We go to a Christian Church. Does this mean Quinceanera is out? Doeas Sweet 16 have a religious ceremony? Or do I need to inquire with my Church? Any input will be of great help! thanks
I'am planning my daughters quinceanera this year and we also go to a Christian church. We talked to the church pastor and we were allowed to have a service in church.
My advice to you is to ask your church and if they say no then you can always do everything at the reception hall. That was my back up plan. You can always get a pastor to go do the services anywhere....
