I was talking to my friend and she was telling me that tomorrow she was gonna go to this Model Search. And she was all like "Why dont u come?" And i was like "ok". She said that I should go because im "skinny". But I dont think that I have the right "look". Im female, brown eyes, medium brown hair, weigh around 95 lbs., my height is only 5ft! Im 13 years old about to turn 14 in April. And eventhough Im mexican I have pale skin! (THANX TO MY GREAT GRANDFATHER!). And I think my friend is cuter than me plus she has had modeling experience (just alittle). My friend has light brown hair, it looks like tanned skin, big eyes (my eyes are kinda big too), she's a good height and a nice build. I think Im gonna go with her but I feel insecure and nervous cuz I'VE NEVER DONE THIS BEFORE!
Awe, hun, look, i dont even really know what anyone means by "experience", but ive been to like, 4 auditions and got accepted to 3, and i dont even know if thats what they mean, because most ppl have gotten their picture taken, and thats pretty much all experience is, because to get experience you need experience and its all a big long line, i thin its luck, so go have fun, show interest, make eye contact, and just stay level with you friend.
Well I still say its worth a shot. Im 16 and have had many auditions and made it to all. And Im only 5'4" so even if you can't be a " teen" model or do runway you could possibly qualify as a childrens model.Which is still pretty cool. Be confident and be yourself. Just make sure your not being scammed by paying money up front right away. Anywho, also try NOT to dress up all glam.Dress as in your normal everyday clothes. And make sure you look clean cut and willing to do this. They don't wanna see you glamourus side. Wear very little make-up and do your hair simple.Possibly down and wavy. Don't be discouraged if you don't make it. Every Agent looks for different types of people. Try again if you don't tho. Good luck hun!
