Addressing Invitations To Include Children
I am having a 40th birthday party and I am sending out invitations to some family members and would like to include their children. I thought that if I addressed the invitation "The Smith Family" that would be clear that the children were also invited. My husband disagrees. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to address these invitations? These children are all under 10 so they would not receive their own invitations.

I agree with you, if you indicate "& Family" people know it includes children.
