I'm getting married in December (Christmas Wedding) and my fiance wanted me to do some research for our wedding online. She wante me to look for Bridal Shows so I typed in Bridal Shows California on Google and this site came up. This looks like a pretty revolutionary concept for wedding shows in california or anywhere in the United States. It looks like it's free, which is cool, it's alot better than paying for the headache of going to a live bridal show (I guess everythings going online therse days)but my question is can a guy get as much from this site as a girl. I guess the bottom line is we can find what we need for the wedding right?
Girls, let me know what you think about this Online Bridal Show and if a guy should use it too.
I means specifically do you think a guy like me will be able to appreciate an online bridal show as much as say my fiance. Girls are so into finding everything for the wedding, I'm scared that I'll choose the wrong people, I'm just likely to pick the first DJ, Wedding Photographer, and Caterer that I find, I'm not the kind to scrutinize like I should, or like my fiance would. I guess my question to the ladies is more do you think a guy would be able to get much out of an online wedding show or should I just leave everything up to my fiance?
Jason-
Definitely become a part of the process...just your interest in it will enhance your relationship with your sweet lady. It's all about your MARRIAGE anyway (which is the relationship) NOT just the wedding...as for choosing the right people - be sure they give you a list of references that are not their family...also ask to attend an event that they are a part of (attend a wedding reception or other event that a caterer you're thinking about using is going to be working, go to something your DJ is doing - ask them what their next few events are and tell them you'd like to go - or just show up) Also, don't just go by the sampling day to pick a caterer...there are so many horror stories from others about how the food tasted so good on "sampling day" but was not as good at the actual event. Don't worry you'll do fine...also, use these people for a less stressful event, like the bridal or wedding shower...ask the DJ to do some turnin' at an upcoming shower; ask the caterer to cater one of the showers...ask the wedding photographer to take some engagement pics...see how these little things turn out...let me know how it goes
