I am 16 weeks pg and getting in april, I ordered my dress from tekay designs, they custom make your dress, they specialize in maternity, it's expensive, but the dress is beautiful, it will accentuate my belly, but I am pregnant and proud!

Congrats on both you pg and your marriage. Sorry that I haven't written sooner, but I have been so busy planning the wedding (we're having a big traditional wedding-only I'm not the virgin my mom wanted me to be walking down the aisle hehe). The design I picked was mty3, actually I love it and my mom and future mil hate it, they want me to hide the pg (it's too late though). The other design I liked was a knee length dress mty1. If you have any ques, feel free to post again, I will be better at that. When are you gettting married? I am due july 28th!!!

Hi, i just found out I'll be 4 1/2 months pregnant at my wedding-
It was not my plan- but I'm 40 years old and am pretty excited-
I just don't want to embarrass my family by sauntering down the aisle with a huge belly. Is there ANY way to disguise that your pregnant at the stage of the game? Will empire waist do it - or no matter what I do will I still look pregnant?

Congratulations on both your upcoming marriage and baby. At 4 1/2 months with a first pregnancy you probably won't be showing and can pretty much hide your pregnancy. Are you telling people that you are pregnant or waiting until after you are married?
I too am having a hard time finding anything I like. I am going to be 8 months along when I get married (started planning the wedding before I got pregnant) and now I am just 3months and not showing so I can't imagine the dress and I how I will look. Brides n bumps is a british site with beautiful dresses, I wish that we had somthing like that here. Good luck and maybe you can let me know where you find something

I just re-read your message, It's so funny i was going to recommend Brides and Bumps to you- but you're already on it. It seems expensive anyway (even at British prices.
I'm thinking that just buying a dress a size or two bigger and then having it altered might be the way to go (unless you're going to get one custom made- but I think- even if I wasn't going to be pregnant that it's a huge waste of money)
I keep doing searching around for empire waist dresses - or grecian style because the waist starts right under you boobs. So they might be the only way to go.
I feel so weird, I'm excited to be pregnant but then I feel so vain becasue I'm mad I'm not going to look the way I want. Do you know what I mean, or am I crazy?
