One of the most important things to remember when looking for a Gown for an outdoor wedding is to look for Wedding Gowns without Trains [Informal Wedding Gowns].
We offer Incredible Informal Wedding Dresses...Highly detailed, and beautifully crafted...
It seems I am already a year behind on the wedding plans , but the DRESS! I need that groovy, flowy beach dress. I know it's out there. I just can't see it behind all the satin & tulle. If anyone has any real solutions please alert me.-
Hi...I'm also having the same problem! I found an awesome beach style wedding slip dress in AB Lambdin's catalog (sp?)...it was perfect but it was from last springs (2002) issue & they don't stock it from the manufacturer any more! OH POO!!! Then I got a Lew Magram cataglog with almost the same dress but a little dressier, matched with a sheer wrap. It's a little less expensive (under $200, I'm at work & don't have the catalog with me) but not as beachy/islandy...if anyone is interested, just e-mail me & I will forward their website with the item code so you can check it out! In the meantime, please let me know if anyone finds any other sources...I'm ready to design my own & possibly start a line since this seems to be a real problem. I don't care for the wrap or sarong styles I've seen so far. Thanx for your help & GOOD LUCK TO EVERYONE!!!
Just fyi, the hawaiianweddingshop.com is currently working on a new line of beach wedding dresses (not hawaiian print). We'll prolly launch it in the coming months, and join partypop's preferred vendor list!

ALSO looking, but for a long sleeveless lacy Victorian look,or possibly guauzy that i can add lace and beading to.ANY ideas would be greatly appreciated :)
I am looking for a weddding dress for a beach wedding and I am not having any luck. Please let me know if anyone knows where I could find a gown that is flowing and not made of heavy material.
Thanks.
I bought a Venus Informal over the weekend. It is a halter top with an open back. It has just a little bit of beading on the chest and the skirt is chiffon. No train, but comes with a wrap. It cost a little more than I wanted to spend but it's perfect.
I'm also looking for a breezy lightweight outdoor wedding dress. I went to a large chain wedding store and told the lady what I wanted and she said, "Well I think that is just SAD!!" I tried on one of her 20 pound poofy dresses and when I told her I didn't like it and asked if they had anything tea-length she said, "Well you could have found that in the 1950's but NOT anymore!" and she walked away and stopped serving me. This is a very big problem -- the whole wedding industry is built around huge, heavy expensive dresses and they won't cater to people like us.
I found a great beach bridal wrap on www.allyouneedtowear@yahoo.com then i found these pretty barefootsandals on jewels by michele. But where do you find the flower headpeice. The one that is a circle of flowers around your head?
Well guys, I find myself in the same situation. Kinda tomboyish, not a fruffy girl. I found my dress, but it was on clearance sale and sold out. The site was illuna. Bermuda beach dress. THE DRESS...If anyone knows where I can find it. I may have to get it made. Let me know of any ideas..
