Just got engaged and I have had the clipping of dress #5 in my "red book" since 2000. Just wondering if it was still available and if you could tell me what size. I would be VERY interested in purchasing it since I am getting married in Sept 2006
I was wondering if I could be of help to you. I have a wedding business here in Edinburgh and I am linked with a manufacturer that makes bespoke wedding gowns. The factory makes gowns for a lot of the leading designers and their quality is fantastic. I get them to make clothes for me as I’m only 4’11 and it’s hard to find nice clothes that fit well when you’re so small!
I understand if you really want to have a designer label wedding gown but if it is just the style of that designer gown that you like then my company can have it made for you and it will not cost the earth. Dresses are normally made within 8 weeks but there is an express service available if necessary.

I think I should point out that I live in England ~ which for some people might mean you buying a dress you were unable to try on. I don't know how you feel about that.
The Le Spose Di Gio wedding dress is absolutely beautiful. The style is so classy and flattering.
As you know these are not 'off the shelf' dresses so do not conform to standard dress sizes. But if I had to choose a dress size, I would say it is approx an UK size 10/12.
I am 5 foot 4.5 inches. I wore Le Spose Di Gio shoes with a heel and the dress was made to accommodate those. These are made to match the dress (and could be sold as well if you were interested). UK shoe size 5.5

Hi, I ALSO have the Spose Di Gio #5 dress. It's gorgeous and, true, incredibly comfortable. I'm about 5'5 - size 6, US. The dress is a light pink -it's very subtle - you'll see it on the spose di gio web site. I'm in San Francisco if anyone wants to try it on. I paid about 5,000 dollars and am open to any offers. I can send a photo.
