Not sure if it can be done but have you thought of checking with drycleaners to see if you can have a regular wedding dress dyed red? Check Prom and bridesmaids dresses to see if there's something out there you like. May have to consider having one made though to get exactly what you want.
Try calling around in your area to see if you can find a seamstress to Create one for you not only will it be a One of a Kind but you might be able to save some money this way as well.

I am also looking for a red wedding gown. I found one it is by Ian Stuart but I cant find it at any retail sites and I'm not sure where to look in California because I just moved here, so if anyone has any advice it would be greatly appreciated

Good luck- I have been searching for a red wedding dress for awhile now. Depending on how picky you are with the style- you can find it. Just look in dress shops at the brides maids dresses or even just at fancy dress stores. I have been told that I will have to have what I want made.
Go to www.bonny.com and look at the bonny gowns.... There are two that are ivory and white. I tried one of them on, they're beautiful!!! Hope it helps... I'm planning on wearing a red maggie sottero.
I don't know what your budget is, but if you are looking for a gorgeous, all-red dress that would be perfect for a wedding, check out Peter Langner. The dress I purchased for my wedding in Ivory is also available in red. You can see the red one on his website (www.peterlangner.com), under the "events" tab. I wouldn't be surprised if you went to a trunk show if he would make any of the dresses in red. That being said, perhaps if you went to any designer's trunk show and asked, perhaps they would be willing to make any wedding gown in red for you and/or work to your specifications. Just an idea.
I am making a red dress for my wedding. The only way to get what you really want is to make it yourself or have it made. I have a vintage vogue pattern and am using 4 ply silk and silk saten. More power to women with red wedding dresses. Getting married is about love and love is red red red.
