I am getting married in may...and will be seven and a half months pregnant!!....help....i am in desperate in of some guidance in finding a dress....and have to consider that i am on a relativly tight budget....any thoughts???
I am a bridesmaid for one of my closest friends who will be 6 1/2 months pregnantwhen she gets married this may, and she has all kinds of questions about when she should get her dress. She is afraid to get fitted too soon and have to constantly get her dress refitted. The doctor told her to not expect to get too awful big, she is a small person naturally. Does anyone know when she should get her dress, where she could get one for 300-500 dollars, and any other tips that would help. We are also trying to plan a bachelorette party that would be suitable for her but still fun. She doesn't believe that she can have a fun bachelorette party because of the pregnancy.

I can offer a suggestion of a pattern that is gorgeous and very elegant. (Incidentally, it isn't a "wedding dress" but perfect for the occasion of an elegant wedding) I am marrying for the 2nd time and we are going to be parents in July. My mom is making my dress, and this in itself is very special to me. I will be 5 months along when we marry in about 3- 1/2 weeks, and this dress is so beautiful. I will have a simple tiara in my hair (no veil) and a beautiful hand-tied bouquet so I will still "look and feel like a bride", but without all the "frou-frou" that we don't want.
The pattern is VOGUE # 1689 (the dress with sleeves) and I will be having it made in champagne matte satin with a gorgeous band of mocha/rose organza just under the bustline and long sleeves.
