This is a little random but I am trying to find someone to donate a wedding dress. :-/
I met a young bride to be while planning my own wedding and she is on a very tight budget…Her budget for a wedding dress is $75 firm, which is near impossible. She has been shopping craigslist and can’t find one that works… they are all so outdated or way over her budget. She just graduated, bought a house, and got engaged – how excited for her! But her fiancé is going to school basically 8-5 right now and isn’t working trying to finish up. This is a very excited time in her life and she is overwhelmed with the stress of not being able to afford a dress. We’ll they are to be wed in the summer of this year.
(I wanted her to wear my dress but she is about six inches shorter than me and her wedding is first, so that wont work). She would need about a size 4-6… and she is about 5’0. If anyone has anything that may work please message me on here with a little information and email address and I will get back to you.
She has in mind something not to poofy, maybe tea length… also if anyone has anything like a Maggie Sottero Grace, Tuscana Vidal, Jorie Ann, something to that effect would be AWESOME!

I have a wedding dress that I would be willing to sell. It has spaghetti straps, with simple and very pretty beading on the bodice, that becomes more sparse as it moves down the A-line skirt. Buttons and loops in back to bustle skirt. I had it shortened to floor length for me in 2.5" heels (I am about 5'1" and would sell shoes too-size 6) and the dress could be easily shortened further. Very comfortable to wear all night and dance. I had the extra material from the shortened skirt made into a wrap, which is included with the dress. Need a veil?

I have a very simple white dress. It is from ABS evening. I purchased it from Saks Fifth Ave. It is very simple. It is a line. It has a slit on both sides of the dress to just above the knee. Hi, I don't know anything about wedding dresses (not even the name of my own) but as soon as I read "tea lenth" - pretty sure that's like shin length and if so I think I have totally the wrong dress for your friend. This dress is white with a massive train - beautiful, long selve. Like I said - pretty sure that is all wrong for what your looking for but I would accept 75 dollars for it (I went through my closet and was like - I really gotta get ride of that dress, from previous marriage otherwise I would have kept for my someday kids- height was right, I'm 5'3 and wore flats with dress - I wear a size 5-7 in pants (sorry don't know the size of the dress - I had it taken in - oh ya, when I bought the dress I paid $1000.00 - so it's not like it's a piece of crap). It does have 'long sleeves' that are lace, the train is gorgeous, and it is off the shoulder elegance. Head piece and all is included. Hope I can help you out!

I have a wedding size 4/6? and am 5'3" so it sounds like it may work however it is floor length. The poofyness depends on whay type of crenlin you put underneath it. I have a scanned picture of it if you would like to see it. It's a very beautiful IVORY gown that I paid just over $1000.00 for.
I have a size 8, which is probably really a size 6 dress. It is full length, tho. Strapless, rhinestones on bodice. Beautiful.. Never worn, never altered. Tried on twice. Wedding called off, but could not get a refund from David's bridal. I do not think highly of them. The dress never left the store, until I picked it up, just to put in a closet. It is looking for a good home.

If you are still looking for a free wedding dress (you pay shipping)- this dress is Eden Bridals, size 8 (but with alterations- more like a size 6, 5'4). Not silk. Some beading on bodice and hem, no train, but a-line with sweetheart neckline and straps. I could send a picture.
