Is it proper to put the Groom's father's name on the Invitation if he is deceased? His parents had a beautiful marriage and are very important to their son. His mother has been widowed 2 years.
So as to read: Mr. John W. Smith
Son of.
Mr. & Mrs. William S. Smith |

| I've seen wedding invitations that list a deceased parent, they usually place a small cross a little above the deceased parent's name to signify that they are deceased. If it's important to you and your fiance go ahead and have the name on the invitation. You have to do what makes both of you happy. |
