Hi

Hi, I am getting married Decmeber 2, 2005 I want an outdoor wedding but I am not sure where the best places are in the winter. I was going to have it at my house but I am not sure I wanted to know where some really nice places are around Avondale,AZ to have my wedding.

Re: Hi
The best thing to do would either do a search by internet, or pull out the local phone book. For me, I just started calling places and setting appointments until I found the right venue. Good Luck:)

Re: Hi
Your post made perfect since if she had took the proper time to read it or maybe she has a problem of her own.

Re: Hi
Actually, if you read the post exactly the way it was written, Beth is right. It does not make sense. There are missing periods and run on sentences. You have to read carefully for it to make sense. You need to calm down and not get so touchy.

Re: Hi
Amber,

I never thought of Arizona as being cold, but in December, I guess it would be. The cheapest way would be to find a friend who has a large enough back yard and won't mind letting you use it. Still, you have to think of the comfort of your guests. If you want the outdoor winter wonderland type, I would suggest having the ceremony outside, which is usually not that long, at someone's house with a good size back yard. Then have the reception both in and outdoors...outdoors for those who can stand it and indoors for those who can't....

Re: Hi
Try an outdoor gazebo at a local park. That way, you could have it outdoors, but could still be under a cover for the ceremony. I don't know how cold it gets in Arizona in the winter. Ask around and see if anyone knows of gazebos or nice parks where you could have it.

Re: Hi
Thanks, I will ask around. In Arizona it doesn't get to cold. It's pretty nice for Christmas. Thanks for your guys help. If anyone has anymore ideas please let me know. God Bless.

Re: Hi
ME~ Yours isn't right either. It is not had took, it is had taken. I understood her perfectly, sometimes you have to just read between the lines, so to speak, to understand other peoples writings. I didn't know this was English class, I thought it was a wedding website.

Re: Hi
Girls, Girls, Girls....Calm down. This isn't supposed to be a lesson in grammer or punctuation. I agree that the post was a bit difficult if you tried to read it fast, but you can still understand the jist of it. No reason to be so catty to someone asking for help. Isn't that why we are all here?
Anyway. A great idea is a golf course or country club for both the ceremony and reception. In most cases, exspecially in the warm climates the grounds are maintained year round and most of them are very experienced in weddings or parties and don't require the renting of tables or chairs. With a local park you have to worry about delivery and set up and the chace of theft. Good luck
