Hello everyone I need help Im trying to figure out when I should throw my friend her bridal shower? Her wedding is Oct 16 and I need to know when I should have it and do you think its ok to have a girls night out with just our friends (like a Bachelorette Party) and then have a bridal shower for the family (like mom's &aunt etc.) I need some help. As a recent bride, I would say around 2 months before the wedding. The month of the wedding is VERY hectic, it will be hard to fit in a get together.
Also, when you do narrow down a date make sure to ask the bride if that date will work for her. Infact, you might want to ask her if she has any preferences when it comes to a date...what days are good for her? what times? etc...
Personally, I would just choose one shower./party to throw as I'm sure other people close to the bride would like a chance to host a get together. If no one else seems to be stepping up, then go ahead and plan a shower and bachelorette party.
I think as far as the 2 parties go, It's awesome for the bride because you really want to make this a lasting celebration. The bride and party members want to really soak up the whole experience and us girls need a bachlorette party as well as the guys. Make it really fun so that she has a wild night too!!! She will need a stress reliever!!! LOL
