I am having an Autumn wedding and I really want it to be formal. I have seen plenty of ideas fo informal weddings and I really dislike the idea of pumpkins. Any help at all would be awesome!
My daughter is having a autumn wedding and she is using fake garland leaves that she got at buckstore and weaving it into mini lights, and she is having fall colours in her c enterpieces etc.

A great idea for wedding favors to give your guests are leaf-shaped cookie cutters attached to a card with your names & wedding date and a sugar cookie recipe. It is something that will match you theme and your guests can use over and over again.
You can also get fall colored napkins and have them embossed or printed wth a fall design or your names and wedding date.

I was married Nov 26 and I had an extremely talented wedding planner. I was inspired by a "Barn Chic Wedding" in the pages of Brides Magazine. My wedding planner used these ideas and converted it to a super stylish Country Club ceremony and reception. My bridesmaids wore gorgeous chocolate brown Vera Wang gowns and the colors of the wedding became choclate brown, ivory and copper (as an accent color). I rented huge silver candelabras for the centerpieces and had goregeous flowers flowing out of them. The staff at the Country Club said it was the most beautiful event they had ever seen! My wedding is also this year, November 25th, my theme is "Falling in Love." All of my decorations revolve around leaves. My centerpiece is a fish bowl looking vase and at the bottom will be leaves and little pumpkins with a leaf floating candle at the top. The floating candle wilI be seperated by a plastic cone, it's pretty cool it keeps it in place. I think I am going to have little votive candles surrounding that. I bought leaves (and everything else) from Michaels Arts and Craft Store, but those will be placed on the tables. For my arch I have goldish leaves with tulle and lights on it. The flower girl will be throwing leaves instead of flowers. For favors I'm doing cd's and I found a site that has cd covers for very cheap!
