| Is there a time period for writing thank you cards for gifts after a wedding? I heard it was one year. Does anyone know if this is true? |

| I don't think this is the case anymore. I think you should send them out within 3 months at the most after the wedding. |

I agree - I think it's inconsiderate to wait a full year. I would also say to try to get them out within three months. If you do a few each night, and also split them with your husband, there is no reason why that wouldn't be enough time.
