I think you are answering your own question. It is obvious that you have a lot of doubt in your mind because you said "we are only 20" and "is this too young". It is good to be in a relationship for a while and get to know eachother. It usually takes a atleast good year to get to know someone. If you two are suppose to be together then there is no rush to get married. Remember, marriage is a life long commitment, therefore you should make sure that you can spend the rest of your life with this person. Enjoy dating him and having fun together. Spend some more time learning eachothers good and bad habits. If this is the guy God made for you, then there is no rush for marriage because he will always be around. Good Luck!
If you are still hot for him after 2 years then go for it. If you are not even hot for him now, forget it. Anywhere in between, just keep it that way, accept the jewelry, the proposal, whatever, and string him along for as long as you can and see what you feel like. I'm not married. I'm with a guy for a long time, but I still feel a little single and I call the shots. I'm still looking too. It would probably be more fun if I were fully single. Then I would test drive a few more of the really good ones.
