The most beautiful place I can think of is the Westbury Manor in Westbury, Long Island on Jericho Turnpike. The food is fabulous and the decor is absolutely stunning. Most of all you get what you pay for and it's worth the visit because they'll give you a video you can keep. Call and schedule an appointment. The host "Susan" is absolutely beautiful; Annabelle does the floral arrangements as well as all the onsite decor u see. I decorated for the wedding of the vice-president for my company there in December 01 (There are swans on the premises). The decor is absolutely stunning. Trust me - you won't go wrong on this one.Good luck.

The Chocksett Inn in Sterling, MA or the Colonial Hotel in Gardner, MA are both really lovely places that aren't really pricey. Worth checking out.
