There are other options - volunteer to help a local florist /caterer - learn the business and take on projects of your own - when you get projects under your belt there are many professional organizations you can join to enhance your trade - good luck

| You do not need a college education to become a wedding planner but it probably helps. I'd suggest stuff like business management, interior design, etc. On the thread "Wedding Planner Information" there is a list of what it takes to get started as a wedding planner if that is something you really want to do. |
