My wedding is scheduled for Sept. 24th 2005. My girls dresses are CHOCOLATE... Beautiful chiffon dresses. My only problem is that I don't know what type of center pieces I should have. I bought wine glasses and plan to make favors out of them. I am open to ideas. I have an idea of what I want but I am still looking for others.
Good luck & congrats to all !!!
Sylvia, I am a Little Rock, AR Wedding Consultant/Coordinator, and I have a client with a 9-24 wedding with Chocolate chiffon b-maids dresses. We are adding brown pheasant feathers into the floral arrangements to coordinate with the dresses! Hope this idea helps!

If you still want suggestion, I have an october wedding coming up, and a good suggestion I got was mango calla lilies. I'm not sure what are you using for flowers, but this specific calla lily is a wonderfil color that I believe would go well with chocolate, and be a nice complement to the scheme, that is if you don't have any other color already going on. If you are on a budget, you can find some really cheap site to order calla lilies from. You can just put them in a vase yourself, and make a simple and elegant centerpiece. They also go well in a simple hand tied bouquet. That's what I plan to do, but I haven't done anything yet, so everything is theory. Hope the idea helps
Congrats!! I am also getting married in September.
September 17th to be exact. I have everything done for the wedding except the flowers, and the decorations.
My centerpieces are flowting candles surrounded in lilac pettles and yellow rose pettles.
Those are my colors, but that is just an idea for you.
Anyways, hope everything turns out beautiful for you.
Thanks
Heather
The table centerpiece for the Chocolate wedding dressed. Get a glass bowl and put a chocolate colored candle in the middle. Put little decorative glass marbles around the candles in pinks and lighter brown. Put water in ( about 3 inches , the candles should be about 6 inches) and then put rose petals in the water so that they are floating in the water around the lit candle. If you can get a flat mirror and place the bowl on the mirror. It looks beautiful and is not costly. I got all my supplies at Pier One and candle shops. II am using pink and yellow, so i don't know if the colors will work, Good Luck!
