Report Abuse Friend and Fiancee getting married, and because one is from Japan and one U.S., getting married in Hawaii, and wanted to know if there is a proper way to ask for monetary gifts as they would like to pick out gifts together once married.

Barbara - There isn't a proper way to ask for money, it's simply not allowed on the invitation. However, you can spread the word through friends and family. ~Karen
