I'm only 13 but i so badly want to be a wedding planner and i want to oun a bussniss and that means i have to go to a 4 year college right? well i wont be going to college for 5 years. But i want to be used and be experanced with this subject so do you have any jobs that could help me get used to the subject? Please list any jobs that a 13 year old could have to do with wedding planning. PLEASE HELP ME
First, concentrate on your schoolwork! The better you do now, the more it will pay off in the future.
Second, if you want to start gaining experience now, try volunteering to organize school functions (like a spring dance, etc). It may mean becoming active on your schools student council, but it will pay off in the long run. You can also volunteer to help with church funcitons or with planning events for any extra-curricular activities you participate in.
All of this will help you gain alot of insight and experience into the planning field and will help you reaffirm your decision to make this a career choice, or help guide you to another field.
