Is it wrong for the mother of the bride to wear a white dress to the wedding???

Hi,
I have to second that statement about wearing white. Even if the bride is wearing ivory ... It would still be bad form to wear white.

YES MAM,
No one attending a wedding, out of respect for the bride, should wear pure colors.
Weather it is ivory, egg shell, white or any colors falling in this category.
Unless you are a man wearing a white shirt you are claiming the bride's attention by wearing white. Clearly offending the bride if you are a woman wearing white!
ETIQUETTE is the KEY!!!
