It sounds interesting to me too. I am planning my wedding right now and I did hire a planner, but I'm thinking that I can do a better job myself, and was thinking of maybe starting in the business too.
I think if you want to start your own business, you have to get a business license first. This site is helpful, read on and good luck!!!
