I am planning an "elopement" possibly anytime from early August to late September. We are on sort of a limited budget, but we still want something nice. We are in the south, and want to get married in South Carolina and spend about a week or so visiting the state.
I don't want anything fancy just something casual, I don't have any family or close female friends I can turn to for advice, so I need some ideas about what kind of dress to wear, how to do my hair, makeup and that sort of thing. It will be outdoors and the photos will be taken outdoors also, possibly on the beach so keep that in mind.
I am planning on having an outdoor wedding as well this year.Im pretty young so Im on quite a budget myself. Im really going to keep it really natural with us being outside.I had a dress that had a beautiful LONG cathedral train and it was covered in beads...its a pretty dress but when I decided to have a wedding outdoors I made the decision to go with something lighter...not so STIFF and HEAVY.Also you want your shoes to have a wide heel so you want be falling through any cracks..hehe.....FLOWERS FLOWERS FLOWERS....Im going to have alot of flowers...KEEP IT NATURAL....I wish I could give you this magazine I have...its an older wedding book but it has a section on ideas on what to wear to on and so forth to a outdoor/garden wedding or a beach wedding. Where did you find your dress? I want something really simple, like a white spaghetti strap dress or something. But then I started reading about body types, and how you should find the right dress for your body type, The only problem is that I seem to fit about 3 different types, and I don't have anyone to help me. It's just the two of us. I dont know what to do with my hair or makeup. I feel lost.
What is your fiance going to wear? That should be the easiest part. It seems so easy for guys.
I'm like you I don't have anyone close to ask advice, and one of the girls in my wedding doesn't even offer to help! Anyway, I'm having an outdoor wedding in June, and I chose an A-line dress that is fitted at the top, spagetti straps, and the bottom is chiffon. Very light and airy.
