I am going to a wedding that the Bride is will be wearing an ivory dress. The mother-of-the-bride wants to wear a cream color also because she does not like red that everyone is picking for her. What is the proper ediquette for this issue?
I guess these days almost anything goes, but at one time NO one was to wear white or ivory if that is the case to a wedding.(It was seen as trying to upstage the bride).
The mother of the bride can go with the color of the wedding theme or any complimentry color as to not clash during pictures.
