Hey for a September wedding you can do Brown with burnt orange....
You can use brown and coordinate it with most colors. Here a website with color ideas n from there you can match on your own... I also am doing a september wedding n this helped me out alot. U can just type in any color u want n you get cool ideas.

I think any color would be fine. I am getting married in October this year and we are doing ( I think) Black, Gold and ivory. You could do Black and white with silver or gold accents. What kind of flowers are you going to have. Mums come out about that time and there is one that is a deep maroonish color. Hope that helps.
