My husband and I were married in a very small and private ceremony of only 10 people due to certain circumstances that had occured. We then threw a party for close relatives and family members to celebrate our marriage. It was an informal party. We had plans to wait till our 5th anniversary to renew our vows in the fairy tale wedding I had always wanted. I do not want to wait 3 1/2 more years, I would like to renew our vows at our 2 year anniversary for all our family and friends from out of town and from close to home. Is it appropriate to have a renewal only 2 years after the first small wedding????
It is perfectly acceptable to have a renewal at two years....some people actually renew their vows every year(which I think is a bit much). My husband and I are going to renew our vows next year, close to our sixth anniversary.
