That is a loaded legal question that I'm sure differs from state to state, not to mention immigrant laws, work visas, etc., and I would doubt most of us on this site are qualified to answer. After you get your legal questions answered, then I'd worry about the actual wedding and reception. BTW, how old are you and where do you live?

I live in Turkey for 8 yrs, and I have to let you know, that weddings over there are really different, first you will be married in the justice of a peace on a week-day , and on the wek-end is when the bride and groon dress up, and everyone party around them. Are you muslim? have you look into all of their costums?? A wedding is really fun, first they have a party to celebrate the engagement, then few weeks before the wedding they have a big party, the it is call "Seker Bayram" Sugar party, the women cover the bride to be with a lot of henna, and they sign to her, it is really an esperience.
