My wedding is September 4, 2004. I have two dilemmas. (1) finding dresses that will compliment my plus size bridesmaids and (2) colors. Most bridesmaid dresses that I see or like compliment up to a size 12...does anyone have any suggestions? I have been tossing colors around that will compliment my ivory gown and want to emphasize the warm colors of fall. The colors that keep bouncing in my head are eggplant, rose, cinnamon, gold, brown, and lavender...Does anyone have any suggestions of schemes? I really believe I should have the gold and two of the colors I listed. But I just don't know what will look good.
Mine is in Oct adn I am using the bridesmaid dress in burandy and using sivler and white the girls are wearing the burandy and the guys are wearing burandy also and the groom is going to wear silver and me in white

I am planning a wedding for my best friend this year. She is also getting married in September on the 25th.
The colors we are using for her wedding are burgundy and Navy blue. The girls will be wearing navy blue as the guys will be wearing Burgundy. Since you want to use warm colors I would stick too dark blues and dark reds with gold. That would not only look beautiful with Ivory but also elegant.
My suggestion on dresses is find a dress that is not form fitting. Find a dress that flows out at the bottom if possible.
