Really Kay or should I say Etiquett Police, Manners police, grace police oh and don't forget grammer police. When your wrong your wrong and sweetie you are WRONG, you must live in a really small town if you think the internet is going to help you find where a person is registered. The cards are there for convenience, no one is saying they must get a gift at that store or they have to get a gift at all. You should really practice what you preach!
No Sarah, I'm not wrong - you are. You simply don't like what is true etiquette so you don't want to admit you do things incorrectly. However, since you're not that bright I certainly don't expect you to understand why you're wrong.
Try Marshall Fields, Kohls, or Target's website -- there is a spot for, yes - you guessed it, Registry information. It takes two seconds to type in either the bride's or groom's name and tada you get their registry if they are registered at that store. Additionally, if you register at either: Younkers/Herbergers/Boston Store/Carson Pirie -- your registry will come up at all of them since they are owned by the same parent company. Maybe even someone as slow as you can figure this out; I won't hold my breath though.
No, I'm sorry I'm not from a small town. I live in Minnepolis, MN and the metro area population is around 3 million.
I just wanted to say, I post on here all the time. I'm not the rude Sarah that keeps preaching mindless posts about how acceptable it is to request money. Just to make it clear, I think it's completely wrong.
BTW, to the previous Sarah, the disease is ALZHEIMERS, not old timers. If you're going to post on something to make yourself sound witty, then know how to spell it otherwise you sound like the airless nitwit you really are.
