My MOH isn't planning to invite my fiance's mother to any/all showers that she has for me (more so I feel it is because she doesn't care for her much), unless it turns out to be 1 big shower where both sides of our family are invited.....shouldn't the mother of the groom be invited to any and all showers, pbviously not for gift purposes, but just to be there?
Both mothers of the engaged couple should be invited to all showers, whether you expect her to come or not. It is out of respect! Also, Missy is right. They are your showers and you can invite anyone you choose.
