The bride to be can register at Victoria's Secret or another store of her choosing. It is so much more fun to get tons of lingerie at your bridal shower. My sister received so many pieces that she had enough to wear something different for nearly two months. It depends on the type of person it is I suppose, you would know the guest of honor's personality and whether or not she would be opposed to opening such gifts in front of everyone.
