I am a street size 4/6. The dress was a size 8 and had to be taken in slightly. I am 5'6" and I wore 3.5" heels. I paid $1495 for the dress and will sadly part with it for $1100.
I already have this gown in ivory, but I am trying to find pics of other brides wearing the dress. I am trying to figure out which veil to get and what type of bustle to use.
Could you be so kind to send some pics?
Thank you and congratulation on your recent nuptial :D
I found this while looking into photographers. I will be wearing the Oceano, too, but am having a small ivory hat with french netting made (instead of a full veil.) Let me know what you find!
Oops! The link didn't come through on that last post. Try this:
1) Google "Robert Sojka Photography"
2) Go to "Galleries" (It's across the top in orange)
3) Click "Adam and Christian"
That should get you to their photo album. Hope that helps!
That is a very unique idea. I am using an elbow length, 2-tier veil in ivory with matching satin cord. I based it on a veil my cousin wore last year. She wanted me to use her veil as my "something borrowed", but I can't use it 'cause it's pure white.
I do have pics of me wearing my unaltered dress on my bio page: www.mywedding.com/joelleandmichaelforever .
Just copy and paste in your browser. Do you happen to have pics of yourself in your gown? It's nearly impossible to find any real brides wearing it.
I was pretty psyched to find these the other day. Especially the one I posted, because I'm having mine altered to be a mermaid, and the dress looked very mermaid-y in that one, and I loved it!
I think how she got her gown to flare out, she's wearing slip or crinoline to puff out the dress a bit. I don't know if I'll do that with mine but, on a side note, I love the color of the bridesmaids dresses and all the bouquets.
I wore a birdcage veil with ostrich feathers. Gave it a real vintage look. Such a cool dress! But man, do I know the frustration of trying to find pictures of real brides wearing it! I'll post pictures soon!
