Patty and Leonard For Ever |
One day when I was hanging out with my best friend I just casualty mentioned I wonder what ever happen to this guy Leonard Casa, I knew him but he never knew me her reply was that's my cousin, he's in the army do you want his address and I said yes. I started writing letters to him and sent him pictures and that's how we meet when he came home on leave we meet face to face and boy was I nervous I was a nail bitter then, you can just imagine how my nails looked that night we finally came face to face. Needless to say we enjoyed each others company not sure if we would see each other once he went back, but we did keep the letter going and he came home from leave again and this time it was bad he was out with his friends and standing on a corner he was shot and when the phone rang that morning my stomach was just a mess and we barely knew each other my father couldn't understand why I wanted to rush to the hospital but I knew this was the one for me so while his leave was extended so he could get better we secretly married for 1 year. When he returned from the service we had the wedding with no honeymoon at that time we were lucky enough to afford the wedding and we have been married for 25 years with 4 wonderful sons.
