Out with the Loser, In with True Love? |
Hi my name is Lorin and I live in a very small town in Texas (Needville). I am divorced now after a very very bad marriage. I am remarring in November of this year, and this time I get a dress, church, and hall to have a reception, and even with a little money we have left over I even get a small honeymoon. So to understand why this time means so much to me you have to hear about the first one. I always wanted to whole big thing church,dress and all. But that is not how it happened. I got to go o the mall and picked out a regular off white dress and he called everbody on the phone 4 days in advance and told them to come to the local Justice of the Peace office foe the wedding. He would not spring for a hall for the reception so the morning of we went down to the next town with the only resturant in an old barn building and decorated a few tables. I went and painted my nails my self and did my make-up but I was able to get my hair done and thought that was going to be great (to my horror) as I was sitting in the chair at the beauty shop she was eating a bucket of chicken with one hand and doing my hair she would take the pointed end of the same comb she was using in my hair and picking her teeth. So we all ended up at the JP office finally and then went to this resturant where there were other people eating also. He ordered 30-40 chicken fried steak dinners of everyone (the owners of this resturant also sold cow feed so my father in law had them write up the reciepe for the food as cow feed) and the only music that we had was an old juke box.My cake was a full sheet with a 8" round stuck on top with bright pink icing.After the horriable thing was over we went home (no honeymoon) and I was left alone for the rest of the afternoon and evening because my new husband and father in law went and bailed hay till after dark. I hope I have giving you something good to work with. I just want my wedding in November to be better and have a honeymoon, be able to dance. Thank you for listening. |
