From Mr. Wrong to Mr. Right |
I got my first kiss from Mike on June 15, 1981. We dated for 7 years. I met someone else and thought he was Mr. Right. I married Richie on November 26, 1989. Unfortunately, Richie was a far cry from Mr. Right and 12 years and 2 children later, I took the children and left. I never turned back. One day in May of 2001 an old friend drove by my mom's house while my children and sister were playing outside. He drove up, got out and came into the house where I was washing dishes. I turned around and there was Mike. I hugged him and we started hanging out. He was and still is my best friend. We started dating soon after. We decided just this month to get married. We will be getting married probably in June of 2007. My children love him and are begging us to get married sooner. We'll see. This being our second marriage and my parents gone, it's hard to pay for a wedding and honeymoon.
