The independent firm of Penrose have been designing, manufacturing and erecting marquees in the West Country since 1840.

Penrose craftsmen designed and built huge circus tents for the original Billy Smarts Circus and many of the same skills are still used by our craftsmen today.

The Penrose service includes windows in all our reception marquees, entrance porches, beautiful interior linings, reception lighting, furniture and wood dance floors. We also have high quality nylon carpeting fitted to the ground providing one of the best temporary surfaces available.

Penrose marquees come in a wide variety of sizes and shapes; round, square, rectangler or oval. Few gardens are too small or irregularly shaped. We specialize in creating fine reception marquees for your special occasion, the extensive range includes both traditional marquees and frame pavilions, (whether it is for 50 or 3000).
