Why use a Toastmaster?
Those of you that have used a professional toastmaster before will know the benefits of a smooth running event and the extra stamp of quality and class that a Toastmaster brings to the occasion as well as peace of mind. Steve has been a qualified toastmaster/master of ceremonies and compere for over 20 years, and during this time has been a member of the Federation of Toastmasters and Master of Ceremonies. He was a President of this elite organization during 2001/2002. During his years as a toastmaster, he has found it a delight and privilege to meet people from all walks of life. Knowing that every event is different, he is able to adapt to the needs and degree of formality that each separate function requires. Steve deals with each event with an air of grace and considerable ease to help achieve a smooth running function and ensure that hosts and guests are put at ease and always makes certain that full attention to detail is given at all times. Steve has worked extensively in the UK for a whole variety of functions and is is also able to offer his services to those who wish to hold their special occasion abroad. By day, Steve is a Certified Financial Planner, a qualification which is held by only 750 advisers throughout the country and is internationally recognised. His company is Bournemouth Investments ltd (www.bournemouthinvestments.com) The full range of financial planning needs are covered. Steve is also a fine musician and an accomplished musical director, performer and teacher. He is currently performs as a solo keyboard/vocals/trumpet entertainer covering songs from the great balladeers of the 1950’s through to artists like Michael Buble and Billy Joel. He is in strong demand as a performer and as a mobile DJ. An additional option for weddings could be a trumpet voluntary as the bride walks down the aisle and also when the book is signed and as the bride and groom leave the church/venue. What does a Toastmaster and Master of Ceremonies do? A good, well qualified toastmaster can add a touch of class to any occasion and bring the necessary amount of formality to ensure the smooth running of an event.
