The Sue Barron Jazz Quartet perform a mixture of live jazz music in Cheshire, swing, blues, some Latin numbers and also some classic popular jazz songs are in the repertoire.
The band is now in its *th year of performing, playing at functions, weddings and at many hotels, clubs, bars and restaurants. The band can perform soft dinner jazz to lively swing and Latin beats for dancing. Think Ella Fitzgerald, Nina Simone, Billy Holiday, Norah Jones, Sade, these are the sources of a lot of the material we play.
You can book either the full Manchester jazz quartet or quintet or pare down to a vocal and piano duo/trio if that is more suitable for your requirements.
The Band consists of Sue Barron on vocals, Andrzej Baranek on piano , Phil Bennet on drums and Nick Blacka on double bass. All excellent professional musicians, and in addition to this if required Helen Pillinger on saxophone.
