Marika Rauscher is a Soprano Wedding singer, whose varied career and vocal flexibility combines classical works as well as jazz, musical theatre and contemporary pieces, to accommodate your wedding!

Marika is a classically trained lyricspinto soprano, whose varied career and vocal flexibility combines not only operatic and classical works, but also turns her hand to jazz, musical theatre and contemporary pieces, to accommodate weddings, civil ceremonies, corporate / private events and other social occasions, as well as staged opera's.

Having performed with companies such as Kentish Opera, Opera on the Run, Operatique, London Operaworks & City Opera, Marika’s considerable concert experience has led her to perform at venues such as The Queen Elizabeth Hall, The Barbican Centre, Southwark Cathedral, Birmingham Symphony Hall, has participated in the Brighton Festival, Howden and Langen Festivals (Frankfurt).

Marika is also an experienced recording artist, having recorded material at Abbey Road Studio’s, Air Studio’s, Eastcote Studio's, QVC recording studio’s and the Whitfield Street Studio, featuring in films such as: King Kong, War of the Worlds, The Da Vinci Code, Spider-man 3, The Fantastic Four, The Island & Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire & also features on the original west-end cast recording of Cameron Macintosh’s production, Mary Poppins.

Being self contained with her own back track's, Marika performs as part of the in-house opera singers at Harrods, Knightsbridge and for Charity Events with organisations such as Marie Curie Cancer Care. Her outgoing personality and quick sense of humour, makes what may otherwise appear foreign and elitist, accessible to all.
