Bar Mitzvah & Bat Mitzvah Drumming Events

Celebrate the special Bar mitzvah time in your child’s life with a high energy drumming event. There are three ways that you can use us. Pick as many as you like.

Everyone plays!

We give every one of your guests a drum or percussion instrument and within a matter of minutes we turn them into a funky drum and rhythm band.

Whether you have 50 or 500 guests at your Bar Mitzvah, we will whisk the instruments in an out of the room, giving everybody a high energy surprise.

No skills are needed and this 20-30 minute session is light hearted and fun.

The session is usually slotted in before or after dessert!

Whenever it happens, it will bring people together, raise their energy and create a wow factor for your party.

Kids Play

We take the kids away from the main Bar Mitzvah party for a little while and teach them how to play the different drum and percussion instruments, turning them into a mini percussion troupe.

If requested, we can coach them to do a small drumming performance for the adults afterwards.

We play

Invite two or three of our live drummers to play along to your Bar Mitzvah DJ and band.

We can offer an interactive drumming session where every guest receives a drum or percussion instrument. In a matter of minutes we turn them into a funky drum band. No skills are needed and the session is conducted with a lighthearted, playful approach.

We have run drumming sessions in museums, art galleries, nightclubs, sporting events, charity functions, birthday and anniversary parties as well as outdoors in parks and public gardens.

JooDoo Drums is a subsidiary of The Lotus Exchange one of the pioneers of corporate drumming events in the UK.

What happens?

Delegates are invited into a circle of African Djembe drums.

After a humorous warm up we facilitate simple drum rhythms that soon become musical. Delegates learn to rumble, play call-and-response patterns, and team-up to play interlocking rhythms. They get to identify and applaud the different sounds and dynamics of the rhythm orchestra, and they soon recognise themselves to be an essential part of the band. No skills are needed, no one is made to feel embarrassed or put on the spot.

Looking at their faces you'll see that mainly they're having fun, releasing some stress, and achieving something new as a team. We facilitate with style and humour, generating a party atmosphere, with some energetic learning along the way. Above all the session breaks down barriers and gives delegates a wow experience that they will share for days and weeks to come.
