We perform tongue-in-cheek, hilarious original parodies of Abba's brilliant songs, whilst preserving the beauty of the original melodies and music.

We act our parts, and speak with Swedish accents, getting sometimes our English a bit little wrong! We're passionate about what we do, and do our utmost to make your event a roaring success.

Michelle (Anni-Frid)

Michelle has been a professional musicaledy entertainer for 12 years, travelling the length and breadth of the UK and performing in the roughest of pubs (Glasgow) to the most genteel theatres (Georgian Theatre Royal, Richmond). Abbalaugh has always been a part of her musicaledy act, but when her friend and fellow-performer Janie mooted the idea of forming a double-act, Michelle saw that Abba-Laugh could be so much better with two singers. Michelle truly knows how tomand an audience.

Janie B (Agnetha)

Originally from Hull, Janie has been singing her way around North Yorkshire for many years. She trained as a dancer from an early age, and choreographs all the nifty moves in our act. She has a great singing voice, which is a bit of a must when aspiring to perform as well as the original Abba girls! She has a great personality, and people warm to her very quickly.

Our show consists of 1 x 45 minute set, which includes some of  the following songs: I Believe in Botox (Angels), Money Money Money, Swedish Girls, Pooper Scooper (Super Trouper), Vindaloo (Waterloo), Thank You for the Washer (Music), Dancing Queen, and Mama Mia. We interact with our audiences, making each performance interesting, spontaneous, and unique. If required, we also have a second 45 minute set (as ourselves) consisting of solos and duets, comedy and straight.

We have 2 x 400w speakers and operate mini discs for backing tracks. For audiences of over 200, more powerful equipment may have to be hired, or we can sometimes plug into a Disco set-up. We have Public Liability Insurance up to £5,000,000. All equipment has current PAT certification. We're based in North Yorkshire and are willing to travel to most places.
