We all know what hard work children can be at weddings. It’s generally a long day and if they make it through the ceremony, photographs and drinks reception on best behaviour, by meal time they’re ready to explode!
Telling friends and family that their little ones aren’t invited to your big day however, can cause real problems; both political and logistical. If you are worried about whether or not to include children and how best to keep them occupied and involved once you have; or simply want to do something special for them (and their parents) give us a call and see how we can help out. Our wedding creches usually last between 3 and 4 hours; commencing during the drinks reception and finishing in time for the evening reception.
Our service is absolutely flexible to your needs and we haven’t had a request yet that we couldn’t accommodate! Once the evening reception is underway, our staff can also provide baby sitting services.

We have provided stand alone creches for one-off meetings and exhibitions; multi-day facilities for conferences and seminars and week long bookings for the children of those attending residential courses. Our service is adaptable, professional and thorough. We tailor our service to meet your needs and those of your guests. By working closely with events organisers and venue staff, we ensure a first class service which is unobtrusive, trustworthy and reliable.
All activities on the day are tailored to the ages and abilities of the children attending, ensuring there is always something for everyone!
This includes role play areas such as the “house”, “shop”, "kitchen" and dressing up box; a construction area with wooden blocks and large scale plastic building bricks for smaller hands; trains and transport and other old favourites such as Lego, our large scale wooden dolls' houses and Scalextric.
Here we encourage physical activity and sportsmanship through more structured group play with games such as giant Jenga, snakes and ladders and Twister.
Arts & Crafts
All children are given an opportunity to make a souvenir of their time with us. All such activities are age appropriate and involve minimum mess. Designing and customising t-shirts; model making; decorating handbags and money boxes and plate painting are among some of the fun activities.
We understand that not everyone will want to join in with the games and activities, instead a quiet corner is available for those children who prefer to read a book or listen to music. Although they can of course change their minds and join in the crazy fun any time they wish.
To ensure that toddlers are not overwhelmed by bigger children, they are given their own area and member of staff. Here they will find, amongst other things, ball pools and inflatables, play tents and tunnels, building bricks and dolls and their own size tables and chairs should they wish to draw, paint or do a puzzle or two.
We don’t forget our younger guests. Our baby area is an array of colour and texture designed to stimulate and entertain. Bouncer chairs, swings and activity rings are available on request.
