Jon-Paul McCarthy is a qualified classically trained animator and illustrator  based in Brighton, East Sussex. He has traveled extensively promoting and performing his craft. Caricature art is perfect as a unique personal gift, or as live entertainment for an event. Additionally, Jon-Paul is also a successful children's author with the Eddie the Egg series of children's books. All of these different skillse together to enhance his main love of the art of caricature, working on both live andmissioned pieces.

Caricatures by Jon-Paul provide lots of laughter, excellent ambience and a great atmosphere to any event leaving your guests with a unique and personal gift to remember the night. Each caricature is drawn on A3 paper, the event can be printed on the top section of the piece, shaded in black and white and presented rolled up. 

Jon-Paul also provides additional services such as caricatures from photos, wedding boards, invitations, and place settings,  caricatured clothes, baseball caps, mugs,  hand drawn and detailed digital paintings.

Jon-Paul has worked for the likes of The Daily Mail and The Sunday Times. He also appears in the New Muppets 2 feature film.
