A picture can tell more than a thousand words, and surely that is exactly what you wish your wedding photos to do. You want photos that capture the smiles, the tears and the loving looks, photos that are taken with a true eye for the occasion and an eye that can capture that very special moment and bring that moment back to life every time you look at it in your album.
Ewen Forsyth does not 'do' boring pictures - he does 'do' amazing wow factor pictures and that's why he has won so many prestigious awards. He just loves what he does and it shows in the results. This is what it is all about.
Ewen encourages the bride and the groom to be themselves and just enjoy their day in a relaxed and informal manner, as far as the photos are concerned. His aim is to create their album with minimal interference to the natural flow of the wedding. There will be the formal shots, if desired, but much of the album is informal and a much more true representation of the special day.
A speciality of Ewen's is his pre wedding shot. This is taken at a convenient time before the wedding. It is a fun shot, which helps Ewen get to know the bride and groom, in an atmosphere that is relaxed andfortable. This helps the couple to believe in hispetence and professionalism which ultimately makes them more relaxed on the day It's like leaving it all to 'our friend' Ewen.
There is also a practical use for the pre-wedding photograph. It will be mounted and framed, but not until all the guests have had the opportunity to write some good will messages, or some meaningful quips on the mounting board. The end result is a wonderful reminder of the day.
It is a testament to how well his clients appreciate his talent and his thoughtfulness when grateful fathers have overwhelmed him by saying that he saved the day. Brides have cried on his shoulder and he has soothed their worried mothers. He has poured champagne, sat on toilet floors, listened and calmed nervous brides. He has fastened tiny buttons and tightened laces up the back of dresses. He has helped keep very young bridesmaids and pageboys occupied and clean and, through out all this, he manages to take the most memorable photographs of that very, very special day. He bes a friend for the day and a whole lot longer.
As a blushing bride once quoted, it was the first wedding she had ever been to where there had been three cheers for the photographer. What thrilled her most? It was at her wedding!
